Hampers in each bedroom for dirty clothes (towels go in your clothes hamper).

No basket for clean clothes.

Our washer dryer is on the same floor as the bedrooms and it goes straight from the dryer onto a bed to be hung/folded/put away. Not having baskets for clean clothes forces us to put them away pretty much immediately. On the weekend, we work together on this. If our clothes, DH and I will fold together and then put away -- takes 10 minutes tops. If kids clothes, sometimes all of us do it together, sometimes just DH and I, sometimes one of us with kids. The kids aren't old enough to do it on their own but we often give them a stack of things to hang up as that's easy and they can do it themselves.

During the week, I usually do a few loads of laundry when I'm working from home and put them away myself, but I tend to focus on sheets and towels for these loads as they are easy to fold and put away and it gets those items out of the way so we can just wash clothes on the weekend when there are more people around.[/quote]
