And then karma struck. I got stuck with frames like the singer from Weezer for a few weeks when the glasses store messed up an order and I got to busy to pick up the new frames right away.... but during this time, I got SO MANY compliments from people/strangers, I could only assume my glasses visually acted as a gun to force people into submission/complimentary mode in order to lull my visible craziness. When I immediately explained they were an accident and that I wasn't 'that girl'/they were too big/crazy/not my style, people would immediately laugh and relax.

I do think that if you have an 'oh my god puss' people write it off as your bad glasses, though.[/quote]
