I think they look very stupid. Very try-hard and "I'm crazy" like when someone has hair dyed an unnatural shade of red.

Any time DH or I see someone with clunkers like these we quietly and politely ask the other 'hey... can you help me with something... is this person wearing glasses?' and then the other pretends to be unsure.

And then karma struck. I got stuck with frames like the singer from Weezer for a few weeks when the glasses store messed up an order and I got to busy to pick up the new frames right away.... but during this time, I got SO MANY compliments from people/strangers, I could only assume my glasses visually acted as a gun to force people into submission/complimentary mode in order to lull my visible craziness. When I immediately explained they were an accident and that I wasn't 'that girl'/they were too big/crazy/not my style, people would immediately laugh and relax.

I do think that if you have an 'oh my god puss' people write it off as your bad glasses, though.

I have large frames - not as dramatic as hers - and would rather wear contacts but I can’t so I have some fun with it.

i don't like chunky glasses like this. different frames but the ones oprah and other famous people were wearing (idk if they still are) look good on almost nobody.

sure, wear them if you like, but they may not really look *good*.

I have a pair of statement glasses. They're large and purple and I wear them everyday. However, they fit my face (so they're not overly big) and they also fit my style. You need to look at glasses that fit your face shape, look good with your hair, and help balance out coloring--for example, I love the ivory tortoisehell frames, but they look awful on me. Black frames are not a good look on everyone.

I love them. She is incredibly stylish and wears them well. I need to start wearing glasses and am hoping they look as good on me. Also - anyone needing to google Jenna Lyons may not be keeping too close of an eye on what is fashionable/ in-style.

I can't stand them. IMO, they look unprofessional ... like a child playing dress up in their parents clothes. In addition, it completely detracts from anything else the person is wearing/doing or any other facial features because all I can fixate on is those glasses and how disproportionate they are. Th4 ones Jenna wears are odd because they hide the eyebrows and make her overall facial appearance look ... off. She has nice facial features... just wish they weren't swallowed by the glasses

I like them on others but I wouldn't wear them myself. They look too chunky and heavy - and I would hate that. If you're an occasional eye glass user (I.e. Can function ok without them or use only for reading or driving or computer, sure), but if you need to wear them all day, I imagine they would become bothersome very quickly.

I have a "fun" pair of glasses that is more striking and a more conservative pair that is for work/professional environments. I bought both from Warby Parker and they didn't break the bank.
