[/quote] The work doesn't stop piling up on when you're away on leave.[/quote] DP - I get that things have been hectic across federal agencies, but shutdowns can have really terrible consequences for lower GS feds and government contractors. People who are just starting out aren't going to have much saved. And despite what many people think, entry-level contractors generally aren't making a ton of money--especially those working for firms that do mostly public sector work. It really drives me crazy when people root for a shutdown because it discounts how negatively it impacts so many people. [/quote]
