We always get beds that don’t have a bottom that extends up at the foot of the bed. No one in our family has complained about that. I personally think it’s cozier with a more prominent piece at the bottom, but I’m sure not having it makes it easier to make the bed as well. And the tall folks in my family are only 6-6’3”, so not outliers. [/quote]
