It ended up being fine and now we have very little issue,  but it was an expensive add when we first moved in.  Again it had no impact on our home, but it was part of the yard where we wanted kids to play and I didn't want mosquitos breeding.

We were fortunate, we have another neighbor who has an entire french drain in addition to two sumps in their basement, so def check the water issues! (We don't live in CP).

Also, with an older home like that if you can have a sewer scan done. [/quote]
