The transportation department may be tied for worst with the communications division, which is saying something. The transportation department assigns my youngest in elementary to a bus stop 2.5 miles from our home. The school is much closer to us than the assigned bus stop. Her address is correct in Power School, and her older sibling gets assigned a bus stop near our house. We all live together, no divorce or second parent situation. I tried clearing it up last year, and the woman who answered the phone kept asking me why we got a transfer out of Brooks and if it was due to overcrowding. We are not zoned for Brooks and did not get a transfer out of Brooks. I could not clear it up, gave up, and drove my youngest to school all last year. She has the same bus stop assigned this year. I give up. [/quote]
