I always buy used and while I do have some brand loyalty based on bad experiences with cars in the past (I'll never buy another Ford after a station wagon that had constant problems that required dealer visits) but it's not being a certain kind of person. I think the tendency to self-identify with car brands on a personal level is a bit weird. I mostly view cars as a way to get from point A to point B. I don't need my car to say anything about me.[/quote]
