In what aspects? It's hard to compare people from different eras on how conservative or liberal they are since society is so different. It would be like saying someone in 2023 is far left of someone in 1923 because he approves of women wearing pants. In 1923, that would have been an extremely progressive view. Today, even most right-wing Republicans are good with it. Even in the 30 years since Bill Clinton was President, society has changed so much. For example, when Clinton passed the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy about gays in the military, Republicans were in an uproar! Now, it is so outdated and criticized. But for that time it was progressive. In that same era, FMLA was passed. Again, Rs were completely against it. Now, it's mainstream. So where is Biden to the very far left of B. Clinton? Biden is actually a pretty moderate Democrat.[/quote]
