New president came from Vandy a year ago.  Facilities at Wake are very nice.  The medical school and research labs are in new buildings off campus at Wake downtown, accessible via shuttle from main campus. Many kids come into school with pre-professional focus (pre-med, business, or pre-law).

They have been putting money into dorms and students typically spend three  years on campus.  Fraternities and sororities are in university housing so there is greater oversight.

The school is a really nice size, 5500 students.  Wake claims even introductory classes are less than 100 students, but can’t vouch for that yet.[/quote]
