Racoon roundworm crawl up a person's spinal column causing mental illness, which just looks like mental illness. Until one day they reach the brain stem, and the person goes completely insane before dying. No one does autopsies of death due to mental illness, so this is easy underdiagnose. 40% of racoons carry the worm and are shedding cysts. It's everywhere. Remember that people used to line their walls in asbestos and paint them with lead. Just because you haven't heard about it, don't assume it's not a public health crisis.[/quote]
