Only her mom calls her Annie 10 years later. Asking her about it, she liked Annie growing up but the switch was a pain with multiple friend groups. I also had a college roommate who went by Bobby until college! It is similar. Certain names sound like kids names to me (some -ie and -y names stand out) . I think little orphan Annie doesn't help with this particular name either.[/quote]
