You and I must have a different definition of “pretty good.”  The highest ranked schools I saw were the University of Michigan, UVA and Georgetown (about 1 admit per school). I didn’t see a single Ivy, or even a top 20 university.

There are other things to be snobby about...namely your good looks and family wealth.  These girls don't need to go to top schools to be successful.  That's for the strivers of the world.[/quote]

Their life trajectories are going to be entirely different.  My NCS daughter and friends will end up being Big law associates and medical residents.  They'll work really hard and some will end up being very successful and wealthy.  The Holy Child girls will end up marrying commercial real estate or finance guys and end up being very wealthy.  There is very little cross over between the two worlds (a tiny handful of NCS girls who are in this Holy Child world and of course they are the popular NCS girls).  There are some STA or Sidwell boys who want the NCS girl but many (most?) want the HC girl.  Can you blame them?--they are beautiful, fun, etc.  For what it's worth, I have the intellectual NCS type so I am not glorifying this phenomenon, just reporting on it. [/quote]

Sorry to hear about your NCS daughter’s plight. My [b]beautiful AND brilliant[/b] daughter attends one of the Tier 1 schools listed above, and she has no shortage of male attention and dates.

But is she rich? You must be beautiful and wealthy enough to be happy and fun loving all of the time. Holy Crows prides itself on its students having a “fun”
