NYU Stern offers a business major; Columbia does not and is focused more on the liberal arts as a whole in general so not as pre-professional.
Is engineering pre-professional?
I would like to know this question as well. Is the engineering program at Columbia pre-professional?
I am inclined to think it is. However, it's done in a liberal arts context. It's more liberal arts than Caltech, MIT. However, less than Columbia College (CC) simply because the engineering distribution requirements is very extensive. Columbia SEAS has less core requirements than CC.
