No matter how you slice it, he comes across as scum. Dated an eighteen year old, married her, three children later and he wanted to dump her first. It's not a good look and while I agree with the "she should have had an income" not many women in her position, especially Hollywood, are anything other than arm candy and SAHP. The one millions dollars, I'm sorry to say she was too trusting and not smart enough to renegotiate it early in their marriage. At any rate, he keeps this up, no one will go to see his films. I think the success of his last whatever has gone to his head and I believe he better tread lightly. It's not like it would kill him (net worth over 250 million, not buying the bs court filing) he can well afford to make her go away while protecting his and her relationship with the children. Buy her a suitable house, give her a cash settlement and be done.
This. I think he should give her $20m (so ~5% of his estate) and be done. 18 year marriage and 3 kids. A 5% hit after 18 years is nothing. He'd still be loaded and she could live comfortably and finish raising the kids. He has so much money and earning potential that his position just makes him seem like a jerk.
