[/quote] Boredom would not be typical in a profoundly gifted kid with an even profile, in my experience. The ones I have known are generally interested in what is going on around them—often in structural/systemic ways that other people are not—vs. waiting for an outside force to serve up something challenging enough in particular areas. Very much agree with you about learning skills.[/quote]
