My friend group skewed religious/celibate and lesbian so I think very few of us were having the kind of sex that could result in pregnancy. I would assume some of my straight/bi and sexually active friends did have pregnancies and abortions that I was unaware of. No one had children until well after we graduated (I was the third I think? Maybe half still don’t have kids). So I’m not saying my experience I’d typical but it was my experience. I’m guessing OP’s DD’s friends group skews more straight and less comfortable with birth control and abortion.[/quote]
