Easy for the family members who don't have big expenses currently - if your kids are done with college, etc. - feel free to treat the family to the beach vacation you enjoy. But don't expect other people to have the same idea of vacation as you, and if you include some of the family, you have to include all of the family - unless you want it known and noted how you really feel about those you exclude. This is especially true if those you intend to exclude have made significant sacrifices and/or contributions to your (own nuclear) family in the past. [/quote]
