Plus “four nights” also means one of those days is sunk with waiting to get the key/having to rush straight into dinner, and then the other morning at the end is race through getting some BS checklist done. I cannot believe people consider that a “vacation” and pay that much for the non-pleasure.[/quote]

We've done a week in OF for that amount, but no way I'd want to drive as far as OBX or HHI for a long weekend. Maybe Rehoboth. It's not about the price; it's about getting enough time to settle in and relax.  And I would only book a house for the committed families, whether they are sharing the cost or we're paying for the whole thing.[/quote]
