I’m sure if they had a gift card (ie, free money) they would’ve found something to buy there. They sell the exact same things that are sold at Pottery Barn, target, , etc..

I also vote for fairy lights. Or school pennant. Or gift card to school store. Or, a rechargeable neon light.

Mine is into theatre,  so I bought a playbill poster for her. Or any film poster (I found a cheap reprint of Clue on Amazon for mine), or favorite art poster (The Scream? J/k).
If you know the kid well enough, something like that might be an option. [/quote]
