McLean has the three top public schools in NVa - Churchill, Spring Hill, and Chesterbrooke. It's close in, great parks, awesome restruants in Tysons, and more shopping than you can imagine. It's essentially the American dream.
That's not my American dream. Ew.
LOL what "awesome restruants [sic]"??? The Olive Garden? Chili's? TGIF? What American dream includes every chain store imaginable in such a small concentrated space? Think about that scene in Fight Club where Ed Norton's character looks around and sees his entire apartment as stuff out of an IKEA catalog. Matter of fact, just watch the whole movie. "You are not your fucking khakis!"
I love the fight club reference... I do think there are actually good restaurants in the area, not saying they are the best but there is a lot more in the Tysons area than you think- Chef Geoff's, Chima, (both have great Happy Hours!) and some good ones in the Gallera like Wildfire. La Sandia in Tysons I is pretty awesome too. Sorry no Applebees though....
Is there anything comparable to Citronelle? Komi? Vidalia? The places in the Galleria do not compare. And I've never been to Applebees. "You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. " "You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. "
