Regarding this post: Still trying to recover from the damage Hutchings inflicted on the city. The worst superintendent ever. It may take 10 years to dig out of the hole he dug, not a quick fix. —————- I don’t necessarily disagree, but I need to educate myself about this. Can someone give me a bullet-point list? What damage/s has he caused?
Please don't make us relive it. Maybe read some old threads?
Great… thanks.
Well, it might be valuable to relive some as a warning to Kay-Wyatt and the fact Hutchings was quoted in the Washington Post that he hoped Kay-Wyatt will continue his work. How about attacking parents who set up pods over the summer of 2020 but in the flip side failing miserably to improve virtual learning over the 2020-2021 school year. How about preaching “equity” but never offering any concrete solution to address achievement gaps within ACPS.
How about when the rest of the area school districts were moving to outside lunch in 2021, ACPS just refused. Didn’t listen to parents at all and forced kids and adults to eat in what were essentially petri dishes mid-pandemic.
And they said it was done in the name of “equity.” SMH…
