The Purple Line is a new metro line that's being built, and it runs directly through campus. They had to move the big M to make way for construction. And I'm sure it will be fine when it's done, but it's incredibly disruptive now, and will impact any students who are starting this year for probably their entire college career.

We didn't visit a ton of colleges, but compare that to, say, Towson, which has a single building under construction now, and you can do almost an entire campus tour without even realizing it. There just isn't a whole campus impact like what's going on with the purple line.[/quote]
