LOL.   Yep.  That's true!   DH and I both went to schools with really pretty campuses with inviting surroundings.. green, lakes, etc.    Neither one of us could get past the College Park thing. [/quote]

There’s this thing called college recruiting and companies (and the government) send their reps to target schools all over the country. UMD does not have.a monopoly on MD/DC/VA internships. [/quote]
pretty hard to get an internship during the school year in DC when you are over a hundred miles away.  Did you know that there are internships that can occur during the school year, rather than just the summer.  I did one of those, and it turned into a job right after school. [/quote]
