I solved the mystery- LAMB gives preference to sibling offered, but DCB give preference for sibling enrolled. So all the siblings at lamb are already at the top of the list but once a sibling enrolls at DCB, the other sibling suddenly jumps the list because they have a preference they didn’t have before. We are at lamb and I agree waitlisted kids who get offers won’t have a good shot at on campus aftercare. There are nearby private options though. I don’t think a ton of people are leaving though. Either way, I don’t think it will affect primary enrollments. All of the primary parents that I e talked to in person (not anonymously on this board) at both schools seem really happy with their respective schools.
NP and we have a very low waitlist number for LAMB. Is Casa Lala a good option for aftercare at LAMB? Thanks!
We've only used Lala for "day off" camps, and those have always been wonderful. My kid at LAMB (who is in LAMB aftercare) has been actually bugging me to do Lala for aftercare next year since he's jealous of whatever his friends tell him about it.
