I vote Brandeis. Gets a great education in a setting he would be comfortable with and he’s near Boston. I would pass on Northeastern - hard pass on Oakland for a year. They seem a bit of a mess right now and they didn’t want your kid enough to give them Boston. Cut them loose. GW is fine, but I’m guessing kid wants to spread his wings based on the NEU and Brandeis applications. Best of luck!
This! Also, only your child can tell you what type of campus he/she prefers. My child didn’t like the Northeastern city campus but others love that. Brandeis is a great school and it’s smaller than Northeastern so more likely to get individual attention. Benefits of Northeastern are the coop (real world work experience) and that it’s in Boston (more internship/work opportunities?) but motivated kids will find good internships anywhere. It’s about knowing your child and what type of environment would set them up for success.
