What’s really fascinating about the country’s breakdown is that it’s led entirely by the GOP and their adherents are gaslighting the living daylights out of us at every turn. Witness the “are boomers ready” thread, wherein the OP talks about how the GOP plans to do away with Social Security and are the boomers ready. Despite quotes from the horses’ own mouths, several gaslighting goobers assure us that no, that’s not what they meant and here’s why we’re silly for thinking the way we do.
