I have a kid who had terrible allergies for a while.  For a few days, they would wear a cap with a brim, sunglasses, and a painter's mask.  They still felt it but it was less than going without.[/quote]

It’s also important to change and shower upon coming back inside, and wash the clothes if you have access to laundry facilities.  Will you be there OP? Because if your sons reactions are so severe he could end up in the hospital then you definitely want a parent local just in case. Honestly this sounds too stressful to me, but if your main worry is other kids giving him flak for wearing a mask, then I guess go ahead? [/quote]
