I'm disgusted.  No wonder why the nannies complain so much on the nanny boards. There really are some horribly shitty employers out there.

We treated our nanny like family and never barked orders or treated her like a servant. Why would I want to treat the person who is with my children 8hrs a day like shit? That would be pretty stupid of me.

FWIW, my nanny, although did not have a CEO DH, was older and was a SAHM for many years. She too nannied because she liked it. Her DH had a normal white collar job and was retired government working on his second career.  They probably had more money than us, especially in home equity and retirement![/quote]
