And that hasn't changed much over the years. Several decades ago, I had a college-level counselor at my ACC-engineering alma mater tell me that, while [the state legislature said] they had to let in just about everyone (in-state), they said nothing about trying to [i]keep[/i] them so.....[the faculty] tried very hard to kick most out. C-wall classes are no joke. And the numbers didn't lie. Barely a third of us made it through. The two schools have very different vibes: Small-town vs. Big Southern City being the main one. Both are good. In my opinion, though, I believe GT to have the better overall Engineering School. [/quote]
