Everyone saying "pull over", sorry to be stupid, but where? Like, side of road? Parking lot? Getting off the road to do this can't possibly save time over driving there and ordering, sorry.
We dont know anything about your route or WTF you live, so how on earth could we answer this? If you don't know how to pull over to use your phone, I just dont know what to tell you.
Maybe you missed the actual question. Here, let me help you. How is having to pull off the road and get your phone out of your purse/console any faster than ordering in person?
DP. It's not about the time it takes to order, it's about the time in between when you order and when your order is ready. In person, you stand around waiting for X minutes. With mobile ordering, those same X minutes are the time spent to get to place. This morning as I was leaving my exercise class I placed an online order for a sandwich from a place on my way home. It takes them 20 minutes to make. So those 20 minutes are the time I spent driving there, and voila, my order was ready when I arrived. Versus 20 minutes to get there and another 20 minutes waiting after I order, for a total of 40 minutes.
