CF hires better employees. They would rather hire a high school student for 8 hours than someone who needs to work 40 hours a week. It was great environment for our upper-class kid for the 4 months he spent there. he worked after school and had most of Sat and all day sundays off. The McDonalds next door had cranky employees. They offer need-based scholarships to their HS employees who go to college.
They hire cheaper, more manipulable employees, you mean.
You seem confused. Every time I go there the employees are bright, cheerful, and engaged. I can’t think of any other retail establishment where the employees pay as much attention or are as friendly and great to interact with. I have no idea how much they pay, but they hire good people and treat them well.
I always wonder how they find these bright, friendly, competent kids because so many kids are the exact opposite. They know what they are doing with hiring.
