They offer need-based scholarships to their HS employees who go to college.

They hire cheaper, more manipulable employees, you mean.

You seem confused. Every time I go there the employees are bright, cheerful, and engaged. I can’t think of any other retail establishment where the employees pay as much attention or are as friendly and great to interact with. I have no idea how much they pay, but they hire good people and treat them well.

I always wonder how they find these bright, friendly, competent kids because so many kids are the exact opposite. They know what they are doing with hiring.

The one my son works at required 3 interviews and knowledge tests to be hired. A full day of off-site training/final interview. New employees are trained for months. It takes even more training to move up. Employees are monitored and counseled by senior team members. Employees must be recommended and mentored for promotion s. Cashiers aren't trying to support their three kids on an entry level job. They expect their part-time employees to be in high school or college

The McDonald's by me offers drive thru interviews & hire on the spot. Employees might be on the cash register on their own after an hour.

I’m gay and I love Chick-fil-A. I don’t have to agree with your politics to enjoy your damn tasty chicken.

Yep. Their customer service is consistently excellent and fast. I don't know how they screen and train employees but they are great at it.
They should have been put in charge of Covid vaccine delivery.

Funny you should mention that, as it actually happened:

Yup. Never go to McD's but went today for a drink (that's it, no food!) and they after I gave them $2. they asked me to pay (again) - then they didn't give me change. Then, I also had to reiterate what I ordered, and it was only a drink, which I had to wait for.

CFA gets it - they move everyone along, they pay the best of fast food places, they are semi healthy (yes, I know, not really). You never wait to place an order, they greet you by name, they give you the right order items each time, it is ready for you at the window, and they have a system in place. Heck, even the "My pleasure!" is worth it. They act like they mean it (eye contact, etc.)! It is like a well oiled machine.

No comparison. The other places act like they are doing you a favor. They need to take note from CFA on customer service.

Popeye's and Roaming Rooster are more caloric and likely to trigger indigestion. CFA hits the sweet spot between bland and regret-inducing.

CFA gives me terrible stomach pain; always has.

Popeyes gives me the shits

They are successful because they make a great Chicken Sandwich. Period.

But, their sandwich is going downhill. Thinner chicken, not as thick and juicy. The quality is going downhill.

Obviously most people don’t care. The few who do don’t hurt the bottom line. But please keep boycotting, it keeps it from being too crowded for everyone else.

1. Because it has nothing to do with this post.

2. The video addresses it.

I think their food is great considering it’s fast-food.

It's the way they handle the CHicken. It's breaded by hand and flash frozen and defrosted in the fridge overnight. And cooked in Peanut oil. So if you don't like that....

👍 and they say "My pleasure" with a smile to everyone!
