ANY sort of weapon. All of which can be used as weapons, frequently to deadly effect.

Be logical. What was going on here?  A floridly insane individual somehow or another got ahold of a gun. Given his mental condition and likely prior record it was probably unlawful for him to possess in the first place. It was unlawful for him to carry it without a permit. It was unlawful for him to have it on Metro but was unlawful for him to use it as he did.

Now, suppose for a moment that there was a way to remove floridly insane people from circulation until they are no longer floridly insane. No better way to prevent floridly insane people from accessing weapons of any kind. [/quote]

This man killed someone within seconds and injured others- he couldn’t have done that with “broken glass.”  Let’s get the GUNS out of circulation, AND let’s help mentally ill people.[/quote]
