My spouse spent 8 hours ignored on a stretcher in the ER with a serious injury in a DC area hospital. (Ended up with an emergency transfer elsewhere because of poor treatment) Once he was well enough (was in hospital for two weeks) we complained. Not only did they waive the bill but they paid us a mid six figure settlement if we signed a NDA. This was without a lawyer or any prolonged negotiation. Obviously I’m not going to share any more details but I completely believe this.[/quote]
