No, that is just rude. If you own a restaurant and you invite someone on a date their you are essentially hosting them at your business/in your home of sorts. You are inviting them to experience something that is a part of you. You host.

If you own a restaurant and suggest to someone that they should come eat sometime - “let me know if you ever need a table!” then that is a different vibe. In that case you are saying “I will make sure you get a table” but you come and tend to yourself. [/quote]
