They probably have aids whose jobs are ending just put all their papers into a box. I doubt anyone really cares at that point.

A former president who is running for president (resulting in a special counsel).
A former VP and current president who is likely running for re-election (resulting in another special counsel).
And a former VP who is also potentially running for president. Do we need yet another special counsel?
Both Pence and Biden have committed a crime here and should be in jail.
Crimes require intent and there's no evidence that either Biden or Pence had the required intent.
The law does’t seem to matter to the Foxified.
I know for a fact that intent doesn’t matter when it comes to mishandling classified information, at least as far as being fired over it is concerned. You don’t even have to mishandle anything marked as classified. Security can just decide it’s classified, even if it’s out there in open source.
Being fired and being charged with a crime are two very very different things.
I know. The point is that these guys won’t have anything happen to them, whereas many worker bees have had their clearances pulled and been fired for discussing information that isn’t even classified, but security decides it is. It happens WAY more than people realize and there’s absolutely no recourse for these folks.
Pence can’t be fired because he doesn’t work for the government. And he probably doesn’t have a clearance. And Biden can’t be fired or be denied classified because the constitution says so. Feel free to vote against either though.
Only Biden can be impeached now.
Impeach!!
That would ensure Bidens reelection so I say go for it!

Anonymous wrote:Sounds like Pence is trying to tackle the issue preemptively and get it out of the way before his presidential run. Also, the practice of taking/keeping classified documents is probably more common than we suspect.
From the article:
"Pence asked his lawyer to conduct the search of his home out of an abundance of caution, and the attorney began going through four boxes stored at Pence’s house last week, finding a small number of documents with classified markings, the sources said.
Pence’s lawyer immediately alerted the National Archives, the sources said. In turn, the Archives informed the Justice Department.
A lawyer for Pence told CNN that the FBI requested to pick up the documents with classified markings that evening, and Pence agreed. Agents from the FBI’s field office in Indianapolis picked up the documents from Pence’s home, the lawyer said.
On Monday, Pence’s legal team drove the boxes back to Washington, DC, and handed them over to the Archives to review the rest of the material for compliance with the Presidential Records Act."

Just because he’s the President doesn’t mean he can’t mishandle classified information. He can declassify information, but there’s a process for that. I’m a lifelong Democrat but am frustrated by the double standard.
