Be sure about what you are signing up for. It’s not just the console.[/quote] It’s probably a PS5 the kid wants, but you don’t need to spend anywhere NEAR $1,000 for a Switch. Buy a memory card and buy the deeply discounted sale games (there are hundreds every week, including many popular franchises, and the sales are often 75-90% off. The exceptions are things like the most popular Mario/Zelda games — buy those physical on Black Friday) You don’t need $60 Pro Controllers and Amiibo are a totally gratuitous waste of money.[/quote]
