That sucks. It does seem like a school decision. I believe our PTA Is paying for everything this year which isn't equitable obviously. The PTAs have been advocating to the school board to get them to cover field trips. [/quote]

My older kid went on a field trip to Mt Vernon in 2nd grade (& Jamestown in 4th). [/quote] The current 4th graders didn't go on any field trips in 2nd because of COVID.  They should consider Mt Vernon if Jamestown is too ambitious or requires too many bussing resources.[/quote]
