As soon as something like this IS REPORTED, the kid who made the threat would be separated and in the office. Sure, if no adult ever learns about it, then nothing can be done. But once adults know about it, steps are taken to first separate so that the threat can be assessed. Even if it takes several hours to interview witnesses, the kid who made the threat is not wandering around unsupervised free to do whatever they want. [/quote]
