My DS got waitlisted (soft deferral) at all his Ivy picks, including two legacies. He really wanted Princeton but was deferred EA, then deferred at all his Ivies and RD. Was accepted EA to Purdue, Ga Tech and UVA for aerospace engineering and picked UVA. UVA turned out great, but the process was brutal. I still remember "Ivy day" when he was waitlisted at the Ivies he picked. But we toured Va Tech twice and were most impressed so I still follow what's happening there.[/quote]
