I doubt the adoptive parents had any idea the circus this show would bring.  I can very much see myself being welcoming to regular visitation / relationship normally and then very very guarded and protective of a child when the visitation came with decades long reality tv side show of drama.  who wouldn't want to protect their child from that.  the parents (i forget their names) could easily drop out of the show any time and live a private life and most likely have more access[/quote]

The adoptive parents are barely blips in the show. They signed up for an open adoption and make it extremely hard to schedule the visit.  They seem wound very tight and I am surprised they were chosen by them for adoption. [/quote]
