The adoptive parents are entitled to their privacy and to keep their child out of the media. That doesn't make them "cold" And no they really were in no position to keep a baby. The living situation, their family situation, it was all really bad. They would have simply repeated the cycle. They weren't at a place back then to break it. And when they got older and had more money, then and only then, were they able to make some changes. [/quote]
