This is OP - and I actually sort of liked AJLT (I know!). But re-watching the OG SATC, it's just so different. The characters had so much more life in them.

Please remember that many of the creative people involved in the original SATC have basically disowned AJLT and are not involved. Candace Bushnell, Darren Star, Patricia Field, the original writing team….they are not involved. I think this is why AJLT is so terrible. Plus, they have a much younger writing team. The magic is gone.[/quote]
