[/quote] The reason UVA doesn't have high ED numbers is because it is relatively new - only reinstated ED in the past few years. Last year more than 35,000 students applied EA to UVA and significantly less applied ED or RD. EA application numbers at UVA used to be manageable but now the vast majority apply EA. If you want your application lost in the crowd, apply EA. If you are qualified and UVA is your first choice, ED is now by far the way to go.
