Even if your marriage were in trouble, it's not their business and pressing you about it does not help you in any way. I deal with something similar (different topic) where my parents put their own anxieties on me by asking for constant reassurance about something that doesn't affect them. Managing their anxiety is not my job and it actively makes my tasks harder. [/quote]
