I have seen well behaved owners who knows how to control their many pets but still I have seen one of their dog attacking another dog and who knows if no one else was there, they could've attacked a child.

I have to yield to dogs and their owners while walking around anywhere. Crazy. And I have seen giant German Shephard roaming around the parks on their own for at least 20 minutes. I had to call the police and report that. Not sure if they actually showed up but they were still roaming around when me and my two kids left.

My MIL are pet owners. They can't really travel to see their only grandchild. Why? Because who is going to watch the dogs? The cats are ok on their own but not more than 2 days. But the dog require attention. And when we do go visit them, everything caters around the dog, not the grandchild. They know the dog's eating habits more than their own grandchild's food allergies. We can't go anywhere that does not allow dogs. Ridiculous.
