[/quote] The problem here is the "stand your ground law." People are too quick to start throwing race around. In fact, police in DC are saying that some people in NW who may have observed suspects in some of the recent uptick in armed robberies and muggings were reluctant to phone in suspicions because they were afraid of being labeled "racial profilers." Criminals are getting more brazen -- there was a robbery/purse snatching in broad daylight on Porter St and 37th St. last Sunday.[/quote]
