We’re true middle class not DCUM middle class so food waste really hurts our bank account. If a store employee can’t figure out 1/3 lb, the store is going to lose that sale. And i’m likely to remember that say that particular Safeway’s deli couldn’t manage what I need so next time I need 1/3 of a lb of shrimp salad, I’ll start at my local Giant and just do all my shopping there.
