[/quote] Adding we used training wheels due to her first pedal bike being very heavy, with a lighter bike you might be able to skip. No harm in letting them gain confidence with training wheels though. Eventually they won’t really be using them and once they realize they’re doing the work/balancing it’s an easy transition.
